What Can I Expect At My Appointment?
Once you have completed a medical questionnaire and fully discussed what you would like to achieve from treatment, we will assess your needs, and the appropriate treatments for you. You may be asked to 'frown' or tense those muscles that cause the 'creasing' in order to place the medication most specifically.

BOTOX is injected with a very fine needle into the muscle(s) or areas that your individual needs require. This is almost always painless- certainly no worse than waxing! The appointment will usually last less than 30 minutes. After your treatment, you will usually start to see the effects of BOTOX within a few days as the muscles relax, but the true effect takes approximately 2 weeks to show as the well established creasing needs time to 'drop out'. After approximately 3 months, the treated area will gradually begin to move more freely again until you have another treatment. Once the treatment is completed you will be given post operative instruction.
